Elan Valley 10 Mile Road Race

Our 10-mile road race is back once again! Join us for our iconic event, taking in a scenic, challenging loop of Elan Valley and the surrounding area.
All participants must be over the age of 17 on race day, with entry fees of £18 for Welsh Athletics-affiliated runners and £20 for non-affiliated runners. Rhayader Running Club members will have an extra £3 discount. There is a small booking charge. UKA Race Licence applied for.
There are no road closures, and the cut-off is 3 hours. Please note that there is no early start this year.
We are using chip timing to ensure accurate and quick results. All runners will receive a race memento (details coming soon).
Registration and race HQ will be at Elan Valley Visitors Centre, just a 5-minute walk to the start line. Parking, café and toilet facilities are available at the Visitor Centre. The car park fills quickly, so please try to car share.
Entries will close shortly before the event (date TBC). There are just 200 places available, so don’t miss out! Race day information will be emailed out to all participants before the race. Collect your race numbers and timing chips at the registration desk.
All running abilities are welcome; however, the course is undulating and unsuitable for wheelchair athletes. We will ask you for a predicted race time on registration to help us plan the locations and timing of our volunteers.
Once entered, there are no cancellations or deferrals. If you wish to transfer your place to another runner, you can do so via your Entry Central login before the cut-off date (TBC).
