Elan Valley 5km Road Race

The EV5K is our shorter-distance event, offering the same Elan Valley atmosphere and warm welcome as the EV10K, in a more accessible 5K format.
Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Elan Valley, this race is designed for runners of all abilities — whether you’re new to events, just completed our C25K course, chasing a fast 5K, or simply keen to experience running in one of the most beautiful parts of Mid Wales.
Like its longer sibling, the EV5K is about more than just distance. It’s about community, shared effort, and enjoying the journey as much as the finish line. Expect stunning scenery, supportive marshals, and an event that puts people and place at its heart.
The route, timing and full event details will be shared in due course, but the EV5K will take place on the same day as the EV10K, making it a perfect option for those wanting to be part of the day without taking on the longer distance.
Whether it’s your first race or your fiftieth, the EV5K offers a chance to run, connect, and be part of something special in the Elan Valley.
