Downhill 5k (ish)race
NEW FOR 2026 our 5km DOWNHILL RACE!
WEDNESDAY 13th MAY 2026 7.30pm
What a fabulous event!
A brilliant turn out on a cold, windy and somewhat showery evening. However all the runners were a little warmer after a flying dash down the 5km course with barely time to enjoy the stunning views!
A very big thank you to Odd Jobs Handymen Tom and Luke who sponsored the prizes; to Ty Penbont Tearooms who sponsored the refreshments afterwards and to all the marshals who made the race possible and who braved the cold weather!
Congratualtions especially to our C25K graduates who ran the race and to overall winners Andrew Davies of Maldwyn Harriers with an amazing 14:59 finish time!
(Although the race was Welsh Athletics race licenced, due the descent of the route, it will not be eligible for Power of Ten results.)
